@benoteroX76Google Tag Manager and GA4 is truly a hot mess. It shouldn't be this confusing to get these two things to work together.May 26NewR1
@kevin_miguetX75btw stay away from https://t.co/2Ek1hhuBmN , they're cheap and store their data in europe but that's pretty much it. bad product, bad customer care, and even their google analytics integration is broken. Allegory of what is wrong with so many french/german tools (not customer centric, slow, inneficient...). I hate them with passionJul 25NewR1
@clickyX74We're going to release user agent filters very soon, to block AI/bot traffic as you see fit, like you already can with countries etc. We update our global filters weekly, but it keeps getting harder to do that without too many false positives affecting other sites.Jul 15NewR1
@kullarX67Lesson learned today from Ads: go simple and specific in explaining the problem. I'm too deep into AI and tech to explain the product well. What I think is simple, is not simple or specific. Customers are screenshotting google analytics dashboards into chatgpt. That's where people are. That's where we need to meet them.Jul 26NewR1
@posthogX66The bot detection scout watches web analytics logs for crawlers hitting our website and not being classified as bots. It found 37 self-declared crawlers slipping through, including one with 6,000+ requests per week, all showing up as regular traffic. https://t.co/3Ir1yWHhdyJul 16NewR1

@TambaClanX57Cloudflare currently allows website operators to identify crawler activity and, in many cases, the vendor associated with it. But its Bot Analytics data is only available for a limited retention window. On September 15, Cloudflare will also change its default treatment of AI traffic, blocking Training and Agent crawlers on ad-supported pages while continuing to allow Search by default. This raises a straightforward evidence-preservation question: Who is preserving the crawler records that exiJul 27NewR1
@PolicifyaiX45Do you actually need a privacy policy? If your site has a contact form, cookies, analytics, or payments — almost certainly yes. That covers most small business websites, including simple ones. https://t.co/FV2dNLVbTPJul 27NewR1
@tomilola_ngX44@qasimbizs Users isn’t the same thing as visitors Google Analytics even tracks web scrapers and bots as well No hate, just sayingJul 5NewR1
@proofwebwizardX40As of June 2026, bots make up 57.5% of all web traffic. Humans: 42.5%. Machines now outnumber people online — mostly AI agents. Unfiltered analytics measure mostly bots. Turn on bot filters, track AI crawlers separately, move to micro-conversions.Jul 24NewR1
@sunejuniorX36@marclou 4.25x bot traffic over human is here. Too many sites have no idea their analytics are already mostly agentsJul 22NewR1
